Andy Lodge Portfolio Review

Had a meeting with Andy Lodge from Brass today to discuss my portfolio, and it went well. First of all he was surprised with how many people had live work in their portfolio, me included. He really liked my portfolio case (the wooden one) and felt it stood out against the black ones he usually sees.

He did make suggestions as to what I could change to improve it.

- Some of the pages were a little cluttered, and he recommended that I look at a few of the pages that have a lot of content.
- The representation of the Late Music project could be stronger, and the poster should have been shot in context.
- The Premier League publication may be suited better at the back to secure a strong finish.
- De-clutter the Element spread and run it across more pages.
- Lose the illustration if you want to at a later date if it isn't working for you.
